About This Site

New York Airport Hotel Guide (newyorkairporthotel.com) is an independent editorial guide to hotels at and around John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). It is written for travellers who need a practical answer to one question: where should I stay before an early flight, after a late arrival, or between two connections at JFK?

The site was built in 2026 for the airport as it is now: hotel shuttles banned from the terminal roads and picking up at the Federal Circle AirTrain station instead, the TWA Hotel open on the airport at Terminal 5, the new Terminal 6 opening in phases, the New Terminal One delayed, and a handful of the old airport hotels closed or converted. Several well-known names near JFK no longer take guests; we list only the ones that do.

The site is not owned by, or affiliated with, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (the airport operator), the MTA, any airline or any hotel chain featured on these pages.

How we research hotel information

Every hotel page is compiled from the hotel’s own published information first, then the Port Authority’s official transport pages, then booking platform listings. We focus on the details that matter for airport stays: whether a hotel is on the airport or needs the AirTrain and a shuttle; what hours the shuttle runs and how you call it from Federal Circle; whether breakfast is included; parking costs and park-sleep-fly packages; and facilities relevant to short stays such as 24-hour markets, kitchens and day-use rooms. Where a hotel’s own site and a booking platform disagree, we follow the hotel and say so.

Each page shows the date its information was last verified. Prices, shuttle schedules, terminal assignments, AirTrain fares and parking rates change; always confirm current details with the hotel, the booking site, the Port Authority or the carrier before you travel.

How the site is funded

The site is funded through affiliate links to Booking.com. If you book a hotel through a link on this site, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects which hotels we list or how we describe them. Details are on our affiliate disclosure page.
